  • Currently, government advice to Osteopaths is to continue to make appointments available
  • We have put additional measures in place as shown here below ---
  • Checking every Patient's recent travel/holidays before commencing treatment
  • Checking that the Patient is not ill
  • Increased sanitisation and disinfection regimes
  • Removal of couch covers to aid cleaning procedures
  • Removal of magazines and other items from the Waiting area
  • Disposable towels provided in the toilet
  • Wherever possible, now treating with your clothes on.

For Babies and Pregnant Mums

Babies are brought with -

  • "Flat head" or plagiocephaly
  • Torticollis or "wry neck"
  • The musculo-skeletal components of restlessness or irritability
  • Effects of a difficult or traumatic birth
  • The musculo-skeletal components of infant colic and reflux
  • The musculo-skeletal components of feeding and latching issues.

Pregnant Mums come to us with -

  • Lower and upper back pain
  • Constipation
  • Hip and pelvis pain
  • Sciatica.

IMPORTANT: Evidence of effectiveness of manual therapy for some conditions is limited and inconclusive.  We recognise and strongly support the need for further research in all areas of manual therapy.
